Some thing blue, something cute.

Welcome to my weekly ramblings on my knitting and crochet projects. My knitting project for this week, and quite a few more, is a lovely stranded knitted jumper for Mr W's nephew who will be 40 in December. The pattern is Heaney from Rowan 66 magazine. I'm using Rowan Felted Tweed, a lovely mix of wool, alpaca and viscose. So soft and easy to knit with. I promised you cute last week, well here it is. A colourful granny stitch cardigan for a special little girl for Christmas. I'm using Catona, pure cotton from Scheepjes. It has really good stitch definition, which means you can see the stitches easily. I'm looking forward to starting my knitting and crochet courses in October which are now full. Wohoo. If you can knit or crochet and would like to increase your skills have a look at the 'next steps. courses for knitting and crochet starting in November. A good way to try new skills and get some inspiration to improve your projects. See you next week.
